I got the report for my medical assessment this morning, and he's not forcing me back into work which is a good thing and a huuuuuuge relief. Says I will probably be back at work in the next six months, which will almost undoubtedly be the case, so fair enough. I still don't believe he was a qualified doctor. Next week I have two appointments: one with the Work Directions physio to see about free gym membership (which would help my bank balance a bit - I am in so much debt it's really not funny at all), and then finally the orthopaedic physio appointment for being referred for an arthroscopy!!! Egads.

Went for a lovely drive through the Borders and for a pee break in D&G with Sven and Ma. Met a hungry lamb who had been abandoned by her mother and kept licking my shins and sucking on Sven's jeans, and going out in the middle of the road. Sven and I went to the farmhouse to see what they wanted to do about it but the house was empty so we just buggered off and left the lamb crying so maybe the mother would come find it eventually, or maybe not. C'est la vie. Saw several reservoirs, had a picnic on Talla Reservoir. Passed by Devil's Beef Tub, which is more picturesque than it sounds. It was very nice. I'm a bit stiff now but not too bad.

I've also had a zygote of a new song in my head all day, but it involves other instruments and stuff so I'm not entirely sure what to do with it. Should probably do the sheet music for it.
