FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKKKK.

I had an orthopaedic physio appointment tomorrow. Now I don't because she's off sick. This is the uber important appointment that I need to have before they put me on the 12 week waiting list for the arthroscopy. It's going to be weeks away now.

God damn it.

I am fucking livid.

Someone please give me lots of money so I can have this done privately and don't have to deal with this shit?

AARRGGGHh so sorry to hear about this, it's an endless catalogue of rubbish. stay strong - being angry and strong is better than defeated and sad. *HUGGLES*

let me know when you want war.

Hmm, war would be good. This evening? I am trying to figure out what to say to the appointments person so they'll give me an emergency appointment, but it just sounds rubbish and I don't know how to be properly angry. Argh.

So you'll be on tjhe waiting list to be on the waiting list? Welcome to the wonderful world of targets-driven NHS.

Quite. The funny thing is that this appointment is a load of bureaucratic nonsense - they have to do a physical assessment before I get the actual treatment just because it's a new clinic, even though I've had an MRI and 5 months of physio and countless other physical assessments. And by funny I mean REALLY STUPID and AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH.

This whole experience has made me realise that when I get regular money again, I will buy straight into private healthcare, and when I run a company again I'll make sure my employees are covered by this. (A small company couldn't afford someone being taken out by this bullshit.) It pains me, because it's against my principles, but practicality has to outweigh that.

What a heap of shit. And by shit, I mean developing nation levels of ineptness, brought to us by a new reality where getting safety net money from the state is seen as some kind of victory. It's fucking sobering.

The sad thing is, the amount of money going to the NHS has vastly increased under the present government (IIRC from 5% of GDP to 9%). I don't know if anyone else has noticed an increase in quality of service, but I haven't.

I'd be willing to place good money (if I wasn't already) that this money gets absorbed by managers and independent companies. Just like in a third world nation!
