Jobcentre interview was surprisingly good. The guy doing it was very nice, made a little note in my file that taxis need to be paid for, and arranged my Work Directions interview and told them they need to provide taxis too, made sure I knew what to expect and stressed that they will offer me lots of things but I don't have to take anything I don't want, and generally asked me what was going on and wrote it down so nobody can ever claim they were not aware of my condition ever again. He did not push me to take a job before I'm able, and also seemed to think I'd be able to get funding for chainsaw and brushcutting courses when I'm better and ready to get back into the job market. Good.

As a downer, however, I just realised it's *exceptionally* unlikely that I'll be going to the Cape this year. :(

I'm glad to hear some people are treating you with a bit of fucking humanity at last!

Lack of Cape sucks though :( You'll have to go for twice as long next year ;)

Wow, funding sounds good! Glad there are some decent people out there at least. (How's the volunteering going?)
