My phone has stopped working. It turns on and makes noises but nothing shows up on the screen. Why oh why? So don't send me messages, I cannot see them.

I fail at poached eggs.

Today: orthopaedist, stuff, things, not stabbing myself in the eye.

It's weird though, because it turns off and on and makes all the right noises, it's just that the screen won't turn on or something so I guess something has jiggled loose. I expect I'll have to bring it to a shop, or rather get my dad or Ben to do it for me.

poached eggs work better if you put a drop of vinegar into the water, it helps them solidify and not go all wispy.

aw thats rubbish :( ive only recently managed to do good poached eggs though... somehow the ones ive done yesterday were near perfect when mine are never usually like that! perhaps it was just that the water was hot enough for once..

I'd advise taking the sim card out and giving it a clean with a soft cloth. My Mototrola phone used to do that all the time!

I second the vinegar method of poaching eggs. Mmm! :)

Hmm, ok yeah I'll try that. I did take it out and blow it off a bit but didn't wipe it.

Even with vinegar, my effort resulted in epic fail! I'll leave the poaching to my dad and revel in my omelettery skills instead.
