Waaaaaa science is poo*.

Today the lab technicians took pity on me and told me to have a coffee break and fed me an alpen bar. I came *so* close to finishing everything today, but I have to go in again tomorrow to look at slides. I am cutting it very fine indeed. But I am now going to do as much of the stats as I can and write that up. Whilst watching John Tucker Must Die and drinking beer and maybe having a hot dog and chips. I cannot wait for this week to be over.

So very tired.

* Not really**. Trying to write a dissertation where part of your experiment involves a hilariously time-consuming staining procedure that in the end still isn't finished two days before the hand in date is a leeedle bit stressful.

** Except for faecology, that is poo.

You are doing fantastically well and it'll all be finished soon! Then you can
a) breathe a huge sigh of relief and feel the stress of it all lift from you, and
b) party/sleep/do whatever you like without that nagging 'I should be writing that essay/dissertation' thought bugging you. It is truly excellent :)

I celebrated handing in my dissertation by eating a brownie from one of the finest chocolatiers in London (conveniently walking distance from my uni). I could send you one but I think it would get too squishy :\ I thoroughly approve the use of cake as incentive :)

I'll eat anything apart from fakin' bacon. I'm going to make sure I have a good supply of veggie frankfurters and breadfingers, other non meatesque sausagey things are also good. Oooh, you could bring things to make skewers (we have bamboo) ..
