The Orthopaedics dept just called again to make sure I knew about the cancellation, so I attempted to be forceful and told them I wanted an emergency appointment as soon as possible and I would not be shoved to the end of the line, and according to the appointments officer the orthopaedic physio is going to do an extra clinic to fit everyone in, when she's better. Apparently she hasn't been signed off so hopefully that will be in the next couple of days. So I'll call them tomorrow and Monday to find out what's going on and if it doesn't get sorted by Monday it's back to raising hell, and demanding to be seen by someone else.
