Apr. 30th, 2007 04:07 pmOut of curiosity, I have signed up to the American Family Association mailing list, and my god are those people full of hate. In fact, today I received an email suggesting representatives are asked to veto the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act (as well as the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, which isn't actually surprising for them given it's all about gender identity and sexuality, and we all know that the gays killed the dinosaurs). Delightful.
Other than that, I compromised with myself between the lack of will to move and the desire to get some work done by revising with textbooks on a blanket in the garden. I am making a sort of brainstorm on the back of some mounting board, which I will probably later put into a ppt flowchart and maybe show you all so you can all be proud of me. My mother is proud of me.
I am going to the gym tonight. Hear me roar. Or whelp in pain. Whatever.
Also Beltane. Although due to crapness I have failed to get tickets so will have to wait in the long, boring line. I'll go early and bring a book.

Apr. 30th, 2007 04:37 pmAnd I finally finished Silent Spring, and it's reeeeeally good and easily readable, you can tell why it made such a stir. If anyone wants to read it, I'd be more than happy to lend it (although I think it's one I actually want to keep this time).
