Absolutely no motivation. Have again failed to do any work today. But I did get a new calculator and National Geographic in the post this morning. And cleaned my room. And joined a few more lj communities. I do love my communities; these especially fill me with warmth:

I am reading "The Problem of Evolution" by Mark Ridley, which is actually an excellent summary of the basic principles of evolution using all the textbook examples of adaptation but in no way poses challenging questions about it, so I'm finding it somewhat unrewarding. Finished Plato's Phaedrus too. Socrates was right. Again.
