Aug. 29th, 2003 11:48 ami just had my hair cut at the beauty school. they cut it with a razor. i like it. it cost about 3gbp. the end. :)
did i tell you i went to the zoo? i did. my ma and i did, anyway. and we saw lemurs (ring-tailed and rred-ruffed) being bouncy, and elephants being tired, and a gorilla flung dirt at us. and i bought a little deck of cards with exotic animal pictures because i am easily pleased. we actually saw just about everything in the zoo in the three hours we were there. we saw an anaconda and by gum it was hefty. and i saw a tapir with a *fabulous* nose. and i saw a cassowary! that excited me. i love cassowaries. and i saw an ostrich and an emu, so that makes three birds in the same group as kiwis - the ratites, named after the Latin Ratis meaning raft (boat without a keel), referring to their virtually keel-less sternums. kakapo also have virtually keel-less sternums. so we're all winners.
and we went to the Castro district in San Francisco, and there was a cinema playing the Errol Flynn Robin Hood movie. :)
you'll have to excuse my links, i got a little carried away.
