The Fountain was perfect. Cried my eyes out pretty much all the way through, but I loved it. I might even be able to sleep now. Sleepytime tea will help. I expect others might not enjoy that movie as much as I did. For me, totally perfect.

Everyone else I know was all "It was pretty, but it made no sense."

And despite my protestations that it was _art_ and you should just let it wash over you on an emotional level, they continued to be rather negative about it.

I liked it a hell of a lot.

And I'm glad you did too.

I thought it was wonderul and it did make sense. It had emotional sense and a logical narrative, though I must admit I only made full sense of it after reading a break down of the plot.

and art does have sense and logic and can be read classically and romatically, though foten one has to understand the given cotest and culture at the time of production.

They did a graphic novel version that I read and quite liked. I'd be interested in seeing the film, despite the mixed reviews.
