Just a quick update to inform you that I am rewarding myself with a cake every 2500 words (up to 10000). I am currently at 1925 and on the methods. When I start to talk about mycorrhizal function and results I expect that will go up very quickly.

Beer is also being used as a study aid, as yesterday I found myself in such a panicked state I could barely think unless in a just-woken-up stupor. Today I am maintaining that stupor with food and beer.

Onwards to cake.

Sadly, both Sven and Si are either absent or sleeping (I think) so I have nobody to enjoy cake with. I will just have to plough on and try to get to 5000 words so we have two cakes at once. :>

Oh, and this is out of an absolute minimum of 8,500 words, up to 10,000.
